Litter Pick -Aireborough Civic Society Annual Litter Picks

Aireborough Civic Society has organised 2 Litter Picks for Saturday 1st & Tuesday 4th April 2017 10am – 12.30pm. This is our chance to make Aireborough a more pleasant place to live. In  our experience  most streets in built up areas are mainly litter free, and it is often areas in the countryside and ginnels that are spoilt by lots of litter. We have cleared the roadsides along Cemetery Road (next to Yeadon Tarn) on several occasions, including  April 2015…

Annual General Meeting plus Guest Speaker,  Local historian and author, John Davies, gives a fascinating presentation on “The End of the Great War and its Aftermath”. Membership is £10 per annum by payment at any Meeting.  Members of ACS  are entitled to free admission to ALL talks.   Admission for non-members £4 for talks, community meetings are free.
