DESCRIPTION:Family Tree Template 2015 \nHOUSE & FAMILY HISTORY COURSE AT RAWDON COMMUNITY LIBRARY \nStarts Thursday 5th October \nA New House & Family History Course begins on Thursday 5th October at Rawdon Community Library at 1.30pm.   \n The Workers’ Educational Association will be running the course and the tutor is Jackie Depelle.   It is being promoted by Aireborough Civic Society and the Rawdon Community Library. \nThe course is for those  researching their family history or the history of their house. It is suitable  for beginners and those with some experience. This is a great opportunity to find out about your ancestors and local history.   \nRecent television exposure has increased interest in\, and awareness of house history research. This means that course members and other library users can research old censuses\, birth\, death & marriage certificates for free at the library during opening hours.   You may find that your ancestors have appeared in newspapers   using the online British Newspaper Archive.\nThe Wharfedale Observer has recently been added to the Newspaper Archive so that local news from Victorian Times is now available to all. \n
